Diversity in Cannabis Mentorship Program
Leaf Lab NYC offers a mentorship program designed to empower and educate individuals from all backgrounds interested in the cannabis industry. This program is structured to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Participants in the program are given the chance to work closely with experienced professionals from Leaf Lab NYC, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the cannabis business including product development, regulatory compliance, marketing strategies, and customer engagement.
Upon completion of the program, participants not only gain invaluable industry insights but also become part of an ever-growing network of professionals. This network serves as a platform for ongoing support and collaboration, helping graduates of the program to launch or advance their careers in the cannabis industry.

Recognizing the importance of education and the power of information, Leaf Lab NYC will partner with various organizations to provide free webinar clinics covering topics to help social equity candidates in their lives and careers, including the expungement process for cannabis-related offenses, and guidance on entering the cannabis industry as an individual from a disproportionately impacted community.
In addition, recruitment and networking events will be regularly hosted to foster and promote diversity within the growing New York adult-use cannabis industry.

The mission of the Local Empowerment and Advancement Fund (LEAF) is to foster social and economic equity by providing financial support to community-driven projects that have a positive impact on the empowerment and advancement of underserved communities.
Leaf Lab NYC is committed to allocating no less than 20% of its profits to the fund on an ongoing basis.
